4 days Morocco desert tour from Marrakech

Day 01: Marrakech- High Atlas Mountains- Ait Benhaddou- Dades Valley:
We will start our journey from Marrakech heading to our destination Dades Valley. Driving through the High Atlas mountains pass of Tizi N Tichka which has an altitude of 2600 Meters with its amazing views of Berber mountainous villages. Our next stop will be at Ait Benhaddou “a UNESCO heritage site” and also a place where many films were filmed such as Gladiator, The Mummy… On our arrival at the Kasbah, we will go for a guided visit with our English-speaking driver/guide to discover the great building and the rock stairs and shot some souvenir photos, then take our lunch break in the same kasbah.
After lunch, we will continue our journey by driving towards the city of Ouarzazate “The Hollywood of Africa”. Passing by the valley of the Rose which is also known as the valley of thousand Kasbahs. At our arrival at Dades valley, we will check-in for our riad rooms with dinner and overnight included.

Day 02: Dades valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga desert
In the morning, we will enjoy a Moroccan breakfast, then get ready for our amazing day tour. The desert trip will start with a drive towards the city of Tinghir with a visit to Todra Gorge where we will walk under 300M altitude canyons. After some time, we will continue our day tour driving towards the South-east of Morocco passing by some Berber villages such as Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud. According to the time, we can stop at Erfoud to visit one of the fossils workshops before we head to the desert dunes. On our arrival in the desert, we will go for our Camel trekking experience to see an amazing sunset, then go by camel to our luxury camp for an evening party and overnight under the tent. (The camp is fully prepared).

Day 03: Merzouga- Rissani- Draa Valley- Ouarzazate:
Since we spent the night in the heart of the sand dunes, we can wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise over the sand dunes before we have our breakfast.
After everyone is ready, we will depart for the 3rd day of our private tour by driving from the desert towards the Alouite city of Rissani “The economic capital of the South-east”. In this city, we can make a stop to discover its great spices market. Afterward, we will continue our journey by driving in fields of Acasia trees where we can see Grazers and nomads, on the way to join Draa Valley. Here, we will be amazed by the scenery that makes it a tourist spot. On our arrival to Ouarzazate, we visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and go check in our hotel/riad. Dinner and overnight.

Day 04: Ouarzazate – Atlas studio – Marrakech:
After breakfast, we will get ready for another great experience for the day. Our driver will take us to visit Atlas Cinema studio which is on our way to Marrakech. According to your choice, you can go in for a guided visit to the studio, then continue driving. Joining the High Atlas mountains with a stop at Argan Oil workshops for a break and to explore the operation of how these Berber ladies make Argan oil with nuts. Here, we will continue our day trip to Marrakech where our private tour comes to the end.
