Day 1: Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga Desert dunes – (Camel trekking and overnight in luxury camp):
Our 3 days Desert tour departure will be from Fes and ends in Marrakech: After your breakfast, our English-speaking driver will come to meet you at your riad/hotel, then drive towards Ifrane “the Switzerland of Morocco”. We then continue to Azrou Cedar forest where we will see the Barbary Apes and take a break at the spot for some time. Our destination will be towards the Desert dunes of Merzouga by crossing the Middle Atlas mountains with their amazing views that remind us of the Arizona desert. We will have a lunch break in one of the Atlas villages including a shortstop. After lunch, we will continue driving towards the South-east of Morocco with a panoramic stop at Ziz Valley which is also known as the Palm grove of Tafilalet. Here we will be amazed by the green view of nature that makes a chain between the desert gate and the Atlas. Our journey continues to Merzouga dunes where we will go for a camel trekking experience to catch a lifetime sunset over the sand dunes. Day 01: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley:
Our first-day tour will depart from Marrakech after breakfast. We’ll drive towards the high Atlas mountains with an altitude of 2600 M. Here, we stop to visit one of the Argan Oil workshops to discover how the Berber ladies make The Argan Oil with nuts. After a while, we continue our day tour on the way to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah which is a UNESCO heritage and a place where some western movies were filmed. On our arrival, we will go for a walking visit to discover the Kasbah with our driver/guide, then enjoy a lunch break on the spot. After we finish our lunch, we then continue our journey by driving towards the Valley of thousand kasbahs and crossing the Rose capital “Kalaat M’gouna”. According to your choice, we can make a stop at Kalaat M’gouna to discover one of the rose products shops, then continue the road to Dades Valley where we will check in for our riad with dinner and overnight. According to our 5 days tour departure, our driver will come to meet us, then drive towards Ait Benhaddou kasbah through the mountains of high Atlas with its fabulous Berber villages. On our arrival at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou which is a UNESCO historical site and a house of many Glaoui family members. Here, we can stop for an hour to go for a guided visit to discover the Kasbah with a lunch break in a restaurant. Then continue our trip to Dades Gorge passing by Ouarzazate “the Hollywood of Africa” and cross the road of the thousand Kasbahs with its fascinating sandcastles and Kalaat M’gouna which is known as the Rose Capital of Morocco. Day 01: Marrakech- High Atlas Mountains- Ait Benhaddou- Dades Valley:
We will start our journey from Marrakech heading to our destination Dades Valley. Driving through the High Atlas mountains pass of Tizi N Tichka which has an altitude of 2600 Meters with its amazing views of Berber mountainous villages. Our next stop will be at Ait Benhaddou “a UNESCO heritage site” and also a place where many films were filmed such as Gladiator, The Mummy… On our arrival at the Kasbah, we will go for a guided visit with our English-speaking driver/guide to discover the great building and the rock stairs and shot some souvenir photos, then take our lunch break in the same kasbah.
After lunch, we will continue our journey by driving towards the city of Ouarzazate “The Hollywood of Africa”. Passing by the valley of the Rose which is also known as the valley of thousand Kasbahs. Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou Cedar forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga desert dunes:
According to the departure time, we will start our 4 days Fes desert tour to Marrakech by driving to Ifrane ‘The Switzerland of Morocco’. On the way to Azrou forest, there we will meet the monkeys and take a stop for some photos. Afterward, we will continue our journey to Zaida ‘ A village where we will stop for a lunch break at the top of the Anti Atlas mountains. We will then continue our way after lunch to the Sahara desert dunes, passing by Midelt ‘Apple capital of Morocco’. We will cross the Anti Atlas before we reach Ziz Palm Grove of Ziz valley. This valley is known for its thousands of palm and olive trees also with its Mud building Berber villages. We will stop at this panoramic park of the valley to take some photos and have a break before continuing our way to the sand dunes of Merzouga.
